For Zoom Guests, here are a few items to make sure of before your interview.
- Do you have your Zoom invite link? If you do not, please contact the person whom booked you for the podcast to request it as soon as possible
- Please ensure you have a quiet space with reasonable lighting (preferably front-lighting and no lights behind you)
- Please use a podcast mic and headphones to ensure continuity of sound. If you don’t have a podcast mic then the next best thing is wired apple earbuds with built in microphone. If you don’t have wired apple earbuds, airpods are a slightly inferior but reasonable solution.
- Send Andrew, or the person whom booked you, up to 3 links you’d like included in the show notes and up to 3 questions you’d like to be asked during the interview.
- Send Andrew, or the person who invited you, a high-resolution photo of yourself (by yourself ideally). This photo should be 1MB or greater (1500×1500 pixels or greater). iPhone photos are acceptable if needed but please avoid downloads off of Facebook and the like.
- Once your episode is published (on a Sunday), a promo slide will appear on the main page of this website with your episode. It is asked that you take a copy of that picture (right click and click ‘save as’) and use it to promote your episode on social media. This podcast has grown entirely by word of mouth and investor recommendation. Your assistance in the future growth of the podcast is greatly appreciated.
- Be ready to engage in a casual conversation about real estate! A lot of guests of this podcast remark that it just feels like they’re having a conversation with a fellow investor. That’s the goal!
