In E036, Alfonso Salemi and I had a very candid talk about the pros and cons of rent to own investing and how it can be done to minimize risk. While there’s no risk-free investments, Alfonso makes a compelling argument for why Rent-to-Own real estate investing is a compelling option. It’s a true win-win-win the way that Alfonso proposes it because he is always looking out for this tenant buyers, his investors and of course, his own companies profits too.
For those new to rent to own, this is where you find a person with ‘bruised’ credit that has good income and is looking to buy a home. These people won’t qualify for a bank loan just yet but with a bit of time and an appropriate ‘credit rehab program’, they could get there.
